1000 Facebook likes and feedback on The Big Test

We've passed 1000 "likes" on our Facebook page

What does this mean? It means that we're building a community of listeners who are concerned enough about the well-being of Michigan's children to engage with us on social media. Teachers, education students, administrators, staff, parents, and even some kids chime in about what they've heard on the air and on our SoundCloudpage.

We think of our Facebook conversations as "added value" to the posts here on our blog. Sometimes we post extra audio. We definitely pass along information from organizations working on behalf of kids in the areas of health, education, and technological opportunity. We also welcome stories, video, or photos that you think enhance what we do here at State of Opportunity.

Check out what you have to say about our newest documentary, The Big Test, and "like" us on Facebook. We appreciate your feedback---positive, "you could do better," and ideas for deepening our coverage.

And, as always, share your stories with us. We're following up on our pre-K reporting, but have also moved into looking at issues impact kids in grade K - 8.

Welcome to our new Facebook friends and here's to 1000 more!
